This is another reason WHY you must have a Travel Insurance.
The world know that United States(US) east coast states of New York and New Jersey was hit with Hurricane Sandy.
The super storm Sandy has caused a massive havoc and fears on the east coast.
According to Reuters, more than one million across a dozen states were ordered to evacuate, power blackouts, paralyzing transportation and at least 13 people had lost their lives.
This is a Bad news if you are planning to go for holiday in United States(US) for year-end holiday such as Christmas and New Year
If you have planned or bought your air flight ticket to the US east coast states of New York and New Jersey, you may proceed to cancel your trip and claim your Travel Insurance.
I am sure you don’t want to put yourselves at risk and no one knows what will happen after the storm has subsided
You are entitle to claim for Travel Insurance due to unfavourable weather under Travel delay and cancellation’s benefit.
Assuming your are travelling at US now and injured in the storm, you may claim for medical expenses.
