KUALA LUMPUR: Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) has come out with its Second Strategic Master Plan 2010-2014: New Frontiers in order to become a more effective organisation.

Corporate development and policy division director Azryain Borhan said the plan provided the organisation with an efficient framework to execute its objectives and continue to remain revelant.

“The objectives of this second plan are to identify, analyse and close the organisation’s gap in the execution of CCM’s mandate under Section 17 of the CCM Act 2001.

“It is also to formulate a new strategic organisational intent and direction to cater for the next five years (2010-2014),” he said.

Azryain said this at the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators’ Annual Conference 2010 here yesterday.

He said the second plan would help CCM meet its needs through effective registration, information, regulation and advice. “We have taken external future environment factors such as business trends, people management and global crisis when laying out this plan,” he said.
